About the Artists
Christina Wyatt — Florida is my native home. After growing up in Miami I lived for four wonderful years in Caribou Maine beginning my formal education in fine art at the University of Maine at Presque Isle. I then relocated to Richmond Virginia. It was there where I raised my son while earning my BFA in Painting and Printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Fine Art.Later,I returned to South Florida to live and work full time on my art. Photographed Works by Christina Wyatt are:

Karen Swanker — A native Pennsylvanian, Karen Swanker retired to Marco Island, FL in 2004. Always creative and artistic since getting her 1st box of Crayola crayons, her serious study of art and design began with winning a design contest for the Horsham Township seal in PA. Awards came in the form of a scholarship for Saturday classes at Moore College of Art in Philadelphia followed by earning an Associate Degree at Hussian School of Art for illustration and advertising also in Philly.
Painting with oils in the impressionist style, light and reflections of sky and foliage are translated into energetic dashes of juxtaposed colors. The result is a riotous composition of floating lily pads and colorful reflections of life around the pond.
