About Elizabeth Goodman
Elizabeth Ann Goodman has been a lifelong student of philosophy and energetic practices. Growing up in the hustle and bustle of New Jersey life, it became essential for her to try to make sense of this world and find some peace. She practiced karate from early childhood, receiving her black belt and winning the nationals multiple times, which is where she first heard the concept of Chi, or life force. Now she owns and operates a local small business, The Magic of Life, providing a range of holistic services and classes. She obtained her Kai Chi Do teaching certification in 2013, her 200-hour Yoga Teaching Certification (CYT) in 2014 from Aquarian University, and is actively finishing her 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher certification (RYT), which enables her to provide yoga teacher trainings. In addition, she was certified in Perception Therapy through Alternative Treatment International, in 2014, which deals with the concept that perception forms thinking, which forms behavior. She has an A.A. from SWFL State College, with a philosophy minor, that she obtained in 2011 and has since studied both psychology and environmental engineering at FGCU. Additionally, she spent many years in professional sales, resulting in a well-rounded balance of right and left brain thinking. She will be returning to school to finish the last year of her undergrad in the UCF, BS in psychology program, with a neuroscience concentration, fall of 2020, and then plans to pursue graduate studies in Anthropology.

LIVE MUSIC RESTORATIVE YOGA with Lee Mirabai Harrington and Sue Lovett
Friday, March 6, 2020
9:30 to 11am
$25
Advanced registration with Sue @ 617-921-1037 or $30 at the door.

Join us for this very special restorative yoga class led by Sue Lovett with live music accompaniment from visiting sound healer Lee Mirabai Harrington. Are you looking for a way to decompress, destress and recharge? At this class, Sue will guide you into relaxing restorative yoga postures while Lee plays and sings sacred mantra-medicine music that will help guide your inner journey into the ultimate healing state. Combining her gifts as a vocalist, sound healer, and a practitioner of Tibetan medical mantra, Lee will sing mantras specifically chosen to bring forth states of balance, harmony, peace, purification, healing, and restoration. Lee's Live Yoga Music incorporates the principles of Nada Yoga (the yoga of vibration and sound), aligning us all with healing cosmic sound currents, and offering yogis a direct experience with the healing power of Tibetan medical mantra.

As an energy healer, Lee is sensitive to each student's needs and uses that sensitivity to support both the physical and energetic/emotional/mental needs of the class as Sue guides the students through the asanas.

Lee Mirabai Harrington is a vocalist, sound healer, yogi, author and teacher who has been on the path of mantrayana (liberation through sound/mantra) for decades. She has sung mantras for His Holiness the 17th Karmapa at Madison Square Garden and bhajans for Amma at Amritapuri ashram in India. With a background in classical Indian vocals, opera, gospel, and Tibetan medical mantra, Lee leads authentic, high-spirited, and deeply healing kirtans, combining the metta and wisdom energies of Buddhist mantras with the heart-opening euphoria of the devotional Bhakti tradition.

Lee's critically-acclaimed debut album BEYOND THE BEYOND: A MANTRA MUSIC EXPERIENCE (Spirit Voyage) was included on multiple "best-of" conscious music lists of 2016 and placed in the top ten on iTunes world music charts. Known for her warmth, wisdom, humor and profoundly healing voice, Lee leads kirtans, mantrayana workshops and "mantra medicine" workshops at dharma centers, spiritual retreat centers, yoga studios and festivals worldwide. She has been featured at Bhakti Fest, Shakti Fest, Ahimsa Music Festival, Sivananda Ashram Bahamas, Yogaville, Omega Institute, Kripalu, Karma Triyana Dharmachakra monastery, Won Dharma Center, and many more.

For Lee, leading kirtan is not a performance, but rather a truly spiritual, devotional and healing experience for all who attend. She believes that each of us has the power and ability to heal the self—and countless others—with the power of our own unique voices and through these sacred purification mantras. Lee seeks to heal all beings through the power of sound, and dedicates the merit of her chant offerings for the benefit of all sentient beings. Website: leeharringtonmantramusic.com
