WATER Art Show

About the WATER Art Show

Florida is known for the beauty of its waterscapes and what better time to enjoy them then the’ hot month of August. With the “source” of the Bonita Spring that the town is named after on the property and the Oak Creek meandering through its grounds the beautiful historic Shangri-La Springs interior will match its exterior by featuring a new art show titled “Water.” This show marks the first ever all photographic display of works at Shangri La and features the Naples Digital Photography Club (DPI-SIG) with its almost 300 members. The WATER art reception is Wednesday, August 5th from 6:00pm-9:00pm and is Free to the public. The water themed images may include landscapes, wildlife and/or people. Most of the works will be for sale and ready to take home at the time of purchase. Don’t miss this opportunity to own a stunning image of the wonderful place we call home.

The DPI-SIG club has participated in numerous competitions and art shows, including Naples Art Association, Broadway Palm Theater and Marco Island Center for the Arts.

The club's mission is to educate its members in digital photography techniques, through exchange of ideas including workshops, competitions, open forum discussion, and art shows.

The WATER exhibition opens August 5th at 6:00 pm with live music and refreshments until 9:00 pm. As always we will have our Community Drum Circle, Community Yoga, Live Music by Alchymie, Live Street Art Painting by Jane Portaluppi Durand and unique items for sale in our Gift Shop. The Water art show will be on display from August 5th - September 28th so stop by between 10am-4pm M-F to view these great works. Shangri-La Springs is located at 27750 Old 41 Rd. Bonita Springs, FL.
